Dr. Gold has over 20 years of biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing experience. He joins FAB from Human Genome Sciences (HGS) where he was Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Alliances, and Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Operations. Prior to joining HGS, Dr. Gold was Vice President, Process Development and Chief Scientific Officer Diosynth-RTP, Inc., where he directed the manufacturing of fifteen protein-based therapeutics, leading to IND, BLA or NDA submission and approval. Dr. Gold also held scientific and management positions in process development and manufacturing at Genencor, Genentech and Khepri Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Gold received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Biochemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jay Shukert has been a consulting Chief Financial Officer to medical device and biotechnology companies for more than 15 years. His work focuses on companies in the development and early commercialization phases. His clients have included Millennium Pharmaceuticals, IDUN Pharmaceuticals, Prograft Medical, Coalescent Surgical, and Appriva Medical. Prior to his work as a consulting CFO, Mr. Shukert was Vice President, Finance at CV Therapeutics and Controller at Neurex Corporation. Prior to those, he held various financial positions at Genentech and was a manager in the consulting practice at Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Shukert received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS from the University of Pennsylvania.

Patricia Sinatra has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining FAB, Pat was Sr. Director of Business Development and Alliance Management at Dynavax Technologies, where she negotiated and managed collaborative licensing agreements for TLR-9 therapies. Previously, Pat was Director of Business Development at Abgenix, where she was responsible for negotiating partnerships, and directing alliance management and strategic marketing initiatives for its antibody based oncology and inflammation portfolio. Previously, she was Director of Business Development at Matrix Pharmaceutical. Earlier in her career, Pat held commercial management level positions at SEQUUS Pharmaceuticals, Foote Cone & Belding, Fujisawa-SmithKline Pharmaceuticals, and SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Pat conducted post-graduate studies in microbiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and has a B.S. degree in biology from the State University of New York.
